Pattern makers are technicians who make the designers’ sketches come true.

They deal with basic blocks from measurement charts and industrial patterns. They are responsible for testing fit the pattern - fit, balance, volume, proportion, aesthetics.

Cutting : development of patterns from basic blocks for simple designs for skirts, blouses and trousers, development of industrial patterns

Conversion : converting  simple designs for skirts and blouses paper patterns into muslin

Assembling : basic of garment making and joining various parts of a garment to construct a complete garment

Technical sketching: basic skills of skirts, blouses, trousers
