MORE THAN 45-YEAR EXPERIENCE

 

IICC-MODE the higher private fashion school of Marseilles has been existing since 1961 and is registered at Aix-Marseille Académie to train its students to the different jobs linked to the fashion field.

Since its creation, IICC-MODE has established very strong links with the important players in the fashion field – haute couture houses, fashion designers, textile and clothing trade manufacturers in order to ensure its students training periods during their studies as well as positions in the textile field to its graduates.

More than 400 domestic and foreign companies praise the professionalism of IICC-MODE trained students.

Within the curriculum of their studies, IICC-MODE students take part in the ‘Company-School’ partnership with ready-to-wear houses and work on a collection  taking into account the different instructions, requirements and deadlines imposed by the companies.

A TRAINING DEGREE

 

The degree called ‘Dress Designing and Pattern Making’ is accredited by the French state - Accreditation is a third party validation - a statement by the French state that a given school has been thoroughly investigated and found worthy of approval and

has been certified as meeting certain set standards- and granted after 3 -year studies.- French Level 3.

The students who are awarded the ‘Dress designing and Pattern Making’ degree by IICC-MODE can try to graduate for a Fashion degree –BA- the following year.

• The IMM has transformed Marseilles into a Fashion City where a fashion culture has developed.
• The IMM not only helps freshly graduated IICC-MODE fashion designers but also our students with its numerous ranges of lectures and its well documented reference library managed by the “ Musée de la Mode “.
• The Cité Euroméditerranéenne de la Mode – the Euromediterranean fashion hub- created in 2005 with whom IICC-MODE has developed a partnership, has gathered all the wills and skills of the Fashion-Garment industry of the different Euromediterranean countries in order to foster internships, jobs and exchanges.
• The   Charte des créateurs-Creator charter- set up by the Cité, co-funded by the PACA area and BdR councils have supported our freshly graduated students to set up their own collections and to be sponsored by healthy corporations.
